Ten Things About Matt: *1. I believe in God, His Son Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit. However, that belief is based on spirituality and above all else personal relationship. Without God, I would never have been anything, am nothing, and will never be anything. He is my All and Everything. 2. As an extension of the above, I despise religion. I believe it is one of the biggest enemies of God and His children in existence. "Christianity" and the so-called "church" as they exist today ironically becoming one of the prime examples of this tragic fact more and more. 3. I am a musician and music is my passion in life. Listening to it, playing it, writing it, recording it, producing it, critiquing it, analyzing it, etc.... I hope to make a future of it someday. There have been setbacks in that pursuit, but such is life and I believe it is part of my destiny in some way or another. 4. Politically speaking, I am a proud Libertarian and believe the Libertarian Party to be the only one truly dedicated to providing liberty and freedom to the people of this great country instead of power to it's government. I do however lean slightly more right in my views than left (Pro-life, 2nd Amendment supporter, believer in the free-market and capitalism, etc.... Pro-CONSTITUTION more than anything) . 5. I have a great deal of respect for and consider myself to be somewhat part of the gothic subculture. That being said, it is certainly not something I limit myself to nor do I label myself a "goth" (or ANY other label or stereotype for that matter). 6. I am naturally and openly an androgynous male. [link]. Simply put, I'm not limited to the narrow minded "rules" or "expectations" of gender laid out by society. I am an individual that reflects both masculinity and femininity in equal parts and is, in fact, very proud of it. By the way, "androgynous" does NOT equal "homosexual" for any one reading this with a narrow, closed mind. 7. It is my belief that one has the right to express themselves freely in the way one feels that it most accurately reflects who he or she is as an individual. As such, I express myself in ways that many do not "get". Yes, I dress in a unisex manner, wear make-up, paint my fingernails and toenails, do crazy stuff with my hair, have several piercings, etc.... You'll either accept it or you won't, but either way that's your problem and I couldn't care less. Complaining or preaching to me about it is not something I will tolerate either just so you know. You're entitled to your own opinion but that doesn't mean it's an opinion you're gonna try to force down my throat, and it's probably the quickest way you'll get blocked from my profile so keep that in mind as well 8. I am 27, a virgin, and proud of it. I also intend to wait until I am married to take that step. I want my first time to mean something special, and I could never have sex with someone I'm not in love with. Also, I am currently single and waiting for that one woman that I believe God has destined for me and I for her. And yes I am in fact straight. 9. I love photography in all it's aspects. Taking the pictures, editing them, etc.... It is one of the many forms of art that I absolutely love and don't know if I could ever really live without. 10. I LOVE being barefoot. I am barefoot as often as I possibly can be and I actually consider my feet to be my best physical features. I also have an interest in feet when it comes to photography. I think they make for some of the coolest/cutest looking pictures. I don't know. I just think they're pretty. Call me weird if you must.
